When we arrived, we were given a chance to meet with the family and masons. Before we started work, we all sat down for some chipas and tortillas which was provided by Rossana and family.
This is the foundation that the homeowner Julio had begun and had been unable to finish. This is for the living room, kitchen/dining room and bathroom (going counter-clockwise). We were assigned the tasks of digging trenches for the foundation of the 2 bedrooms, filling in the foundation with dirt and digging the cistern for the septic system.
